Untargetable obscures the location signals sold by many ad networks by feeding fake but believable location data to most apps and by helping you limit other identifying signals (Ad ID, Wi-Fi scans, background access). It does not and cannot block carrier telemetry, system analytics, or hardware identifiers (IMEI) without device modification. For the best results, enable the following recommended settings and consider connecting to a privacy-focused VPN.

Commercially sold data largely comes from embedded SDKs inside many apps. Those SDKs read fused location, Wi-Fi/BT scans, advertising IDs, motion signals, and background activity to build saleable traces. By reducing background location, removing precise access, killing Wi-Fi/BT scanning and Nearby Devices, and resetting/opt-out of ad IDs, you remove or degrade the core inputs those SDKs rely on. Google/Apple first-party services are harder to spoof or block—but they’re not what most third-party brokers resell.
